WAITLIST INFORMATION
My kitten applications are currently closed. I will begin accepting new applications once pregnancies are confirmed to ensure transparency and accurate timing for future litters. At the time, applications will be carefully reviewed, and once approved, a deposit may be submitted to secure a spot on the waitlist. Please note that I do not accept deposits or reserve kittens prior to confirmed pregnancies and completed applications, as this helps maintain a fair and organized process for all potential families.

WHAT ARE YOUR KITTEN PRICES?
All Fluffgang kittens are $4800, regardless of color, coat type, or gender. All kitten purchases are subject to applicable California sales tax. Our current local sales tax rate is 9.25%.
How much is the deposit for A KITTEN & what is the process like?
- Deposit: A $800 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place on the Fluffgang waitlist. This deposit is applied toward the total purchase price and may be paid via Zelle or cash (local pick up only).
- Remaining balance: The remaining balance, including applicable California sales tax, is due via Zelle at the time of pickup.
- Reservation order & waitlist: Kittens are reserved in the order deposits are received, not by messages or verbal interest. Families on the waitlist are contacted in order as kittens become available, ensuring everyone has a fair opportunity to welcome a Fluffgang kitten into their home.
Please note deposits are non-refundable, except in the rare case that I am unable to provide a kitten for you.
Committment reminder: Please give your decision careful thought and only proceed if you are fully prepared for the responsibility of bringing home a kitten and have discussed the decision with everyone in your household.

Fluffgang kittens go to their new homes around 14-16 weeks of age.
This extra time allows kittens to:
- Grow strong and confident with better developed immunity
- Complete their age-appropriate veterinary care and vaccinations
- Develop excellent social skills and stable temperaments
Sending kittens home at this age helps ensure a smoother transition and sets each kitten up for a healthy, happy life.

- 2 rounds of FVRCP vaccine
- 2 rounds of deworming

All my kittens leave socialized and used to family holding them. This also includes regular house noises like the TV, street noise, and especially the vacuum!
I also make sure kittens are used to having their nails trimmed, to being brushed, bathed, dried and face cleaned. I teach families how to properly set up their homes for their new kittens including litter and feeding.
Even so, kittens are all 100% litter box trained by 12 weeks. Kittens have a fresh bath with their nails trimmed & never show any signs of illness before leaving my care!
You are also given a lifetime of support from me, FluffGang Cattery breeder, Rachal. Whatever you and your baby may need, I will be there!

Local families are welcome to pick up their kitten directly from us.
For families who are unable to travel to California, flight nanny delivery is available for an additional fee. I work with a trusted flight nanny who will personally accompany your kitten in-cabin and safely deliver them to your nearest major airport.
Delivery fees vary depending on destination and travel costs. Please reach out for availability and a delivery quote.
For the safety and comfort of our kittens, we do not ship kittens as cargo.

All of my breeder cats are genetically tested with Optimal Selection which tests for over 40+ genetic diseases including PKD1, 20+ traits including colors, coat types and comprehensive blood typing. Each of my breeder cats are also tested Negative for FIV/FeLV and are annually screened for HCM by a certified cardiologist.
Do British Shorthairs shed?

Are your cats health tested?
Yes they do shed. Their coats are short, dense and plush, requiring regular brushing to keep them in pristine condition. They do tend to shed a moderate amount of fur during the autumn and spring seasons when molting is most prevalent.

It's hard to say which is better. We haven't noticed much of a personality difference. Males tend to be bigger and lazier though some think they're more affectionate. Both genders are smart, friendly, and make great companions. Those who adopted from my cattery are equally happy with females and males.
