WHAT ARE YOUR KITTEN PRICES?
Fluffgang kittens are prcied between $3500-$4000, depending on factors such as color, coat type, & overall quality.
Pricing reflects the level of care each kitten receives, including health-focused breeding, high-quality nutrition, veterinary care & extensive socialization to ensure confident, well-adjusted companions.
How much is the deposit for A KITTEN & what is the process like?
- Deposit: A $500 deposit is required to reserve your Fluffgang kitten. This deposit is applied toward the total price & can be paid via Zelle or cash (local pick up only).
- Remaining balance: The rest of the kitten's price is due in cash when your kitten goes home.
- Reservation order & waitlist: Kittens are reserved in the order deposits are received, not by messages or verbal interest. Families on the waitlist are contacted in order as kittens become available, so everyone has a fair chance to welcome a Fluffgang kitten into their home.
- Keeping it fair: If a deposit isn't received within the timeframe provided, the reservation will move to the next family on the waitlist,
Please note deposits are non-refundable, except in the rare case that I am unable to provide a kitten for you.
Committment reminder: Please give it careful thought & only proceed if you are 100% ready for the responsibility of a kitten & have discussed it with everyone in your household.

Fluffgang kittens go to their new homes around 14-16 weeks of age.
This extra time allows kittens to:
- Grow strong & confident with better developed immunity
- Complete their age-appropriate veterinary care & vaccinations
- Develop excellent social skills & stable temperaments
Sending kittens home at this age helps ensure a smoother transition & sets each kitten up for a healthy, happy life.

All kittens come with:
- 2 year genetic health warranty
- 72 hour wellness health guarantee
- 2 rounds of FVRCP vaccine
- 2 rounds of deworming
- Rabies vaccine good for 1 year
- Spay/Neuter
- Microchipped
- Copy of parents' pedigree (upon request)
- Copy of parents' genetic testing (upon request)
- Copy of parents' HCM screening (upon request)
- Blanket with mother's/siblings scent
- Kitty bag with some food/treats & toys they enjoy!

All my kittens leave socialized & used to family holding them. This also includes regular house noises like the TV, street noise, & especially the vacuum!
I also make sure kittens are used to having their nails trimmed, to being brushed, bathed, dried & face cleaned. I teach families how to properly set up their homes for their new kittens including litter & feeding.
Even so, kittens are all 100% litter box trained by 12 weeks. Kittens have a fresh bath with their nails trimmed & never show any signs of illness before leaving my care!
You are also given a lifetime of support from me, FluffGang Cattery breeder, Rachal. Whatever you & your baby may need, I will be there!

Located in Monterey, California.
We welcome you to pick up your new kitten directly from us if you're within the state.
For those outside of California, in-cabin air travel is an option, allowing you to fly here and return with your kitten safely. I can assist with giving you more information if needed.
Additionally, for an extra fee, I offer delivery to your nearest airport, where you can pick up your kitten directly from me or one of my family members.

All of my breeder cats are genetically tested with Optimal Selection which tests for over 40+ genetic diseases including PKD1, 20+ traits including colors, coat types and comprehensive blood typing. Each of my breeder cats are also tested Negative for FIV/FeLV and are annually screened for HCM by a certified cardiologist.
Do British Shorthairs shed?

Yes they do shed. Their coats are short, dense & plush, requiring regular brushing to keep them in pristine condition. They do tend to shed a moderate amount of fur during the autumn & spring seasons when molting is most prevalent.

It's hard to say which is better. We haven't noticed much of a personality difference. Males tend to be bigger & lazier though some think they're more affectionate. Both genders are smart, friendly, & make great companions. Those who adopted from my cattery are equally happy with females & males.
