What are your kitten prices?
All Fluffgang kittens are $5,000 + sales tax, regardless of color, or gender.
Sales Tax of 9.25% applies to California Residents only.
Deposit: A 50% non-refundable deposit ($2,500) is required to reserve your kitten. This deposit is applied toward the total kitten price.
Remaining balance: The remaining balance is due at pickup. For kittens being delivered, the remainder must be paid 72 hours prior to delivery.
**Please note deposits are non-refundable**
Committment reminder: Please give your decision careful thought and only proceed if you are fully prepared for the responsibility of bringing home a kitten and have discussed the decision with everyone in your household.
HOW TO JOIN THE WAITLIST & RESERVE A KITTEN?
Paid Waitlist
Fluffgang Cattery works exclusively with a limited paid waitlist for kitten placements. Our waitlist will reopen very soon!
The opening will be announced first on our Instagram stories, so be sure to turn on our story notifications so you don't miss it. Once our available waitlist spots are filled, the waitlist will close again.
Joining the Waitlist
Approved families may join our waitlist with a $350 non-refundable waitlist fee. This fee reserves your place on our waitlist and is applied toward your kitten's $5,000 purchase price.
Joining the waitlist does not guarantee a specific kitten, color, gender, litter, pairing, or timeframe. Because we are working with Mother Nature, litter sizes, colors, genders, pregnancies, and timing cannot be predicted or guaranteed.
Estimated Wait Time
Joining our waitlist does not mean a kitten is immediately available. You are reserving your place in line for upcoming litters. Our estimated wait time is 6-12 months, depending on your preferences and how many litters we have coming up
Waitlist Order & Preferences
Families are placed on the waitlist in the order their waitlist fee is received. You may provide your preferred gender and colors when joining.
When kittens become available, we contact families in waitlist order whose stated preferences match the available kittens. Families who are open to multiple colors and/or genders naturally have more opportunities to be matched sooner.
Kitten Selection & Reservation
Selection begins when kittens are approximately 9-12 weeks old, once they are healthy, thriving and developing well. Families are contacted in waitlist order based on the preferences provided when joining the waitlist and the kittens available.
When you are offered a kitten that matches the preferences you selected, you will have 24 hours to accept the match and submit the $2,500 non-refundable reservation deposit.
We do not offer passes on matching kittens. By joining the waitlist, you are agreeing to move forward when offered a kitten that falls within the preferences you provided.
If you decline the match, do not respond within 24 hours or fail to submit the required reservation deposit, your place on the waitlist will be forfeited and your $350 waitlist fee will not be refunded or transferred. The kitten will then be offered to the next eligible family.
After Reserving Your Kitten
Once your reservation deposit is received, your kitten is officially reserved for you! From there, you'll receive photo and video updates as your little kitten grows and gets ready to come home at approximately 14-16 weeks old.
what colors do you breed?
Our cattery produces British Shorthairs in a beautiful variety of colors, including black, chocolate, cinnamon, red, blue, lilac, fawn and cream.
Depending on the pairing, kittens may be solid, bi color, tortie or calico. Because genetics and mother nature determine each litter, specific colors are never guaranteed.

Fluffgang kittens go to their new homes around 14-16 weeks of age.
This extra time allows kittens to:
- Grow strong and confident with better developed immunity
- Complete their age-appropriate veterinary care and vaccinations
- Develop excellent social skills and stable temperaments
Sending kittens home at this age helps ensure a smoother transition and sets each kitten up for a healthy, happy life.

All my kittens leave socialized and used to family holding them. This also includes regular house noises like the TV, street noise, and especially the vacuum!
I also make sure kittens are used to having their nails trimmed, to being brushed, bathed, dried and face cleaned. I teach families how to properly set up their homes for their new kittens including litter and feeding.
Even so, kittens are all 100% litter box trained by 12 weeks. Kittens have a fresh bath with their nails trimmed & never show any signs of illness before leaving my care!
You are also given a lifetime of support from me, FluffGang Cattery breeder, Rachelle. Whatever you and your baby may need, I will be there!

Local families are welcome to pick up their kitten directly from us.
For families who are unable to travel to California, flight nanny delivery is available for an additional fee. I work with a trusted flight nanny who will personally accompany your kitten in-cabin and safely deliver them to your nearest major airport.
Delivery fees vary depending on destination and travel costs. Please reach out for availability and a delivery quote.
For the safety and comfort of our kittens, we do not ship kittens as cargo.

All of my breeder cats are genetically tested with Optimal Selection which tests for over 40+ genetic diseases including PKD1, 20+ traits including colors, coat types and comprehensive blood typing. Each of my breeder cats are also tested Negative for FIV/FeLV and are annually screened for HCM by a certified cardiologist.
Do British Shorthairs shed?

Are your cats health tested?
Yes they do shed. Their coats are short, dense and plush, requiring regular brushing to keep them in pristine condition. They do tend to shed a moderate amount of fur during the autumn and spring seasons when molting is most prevalent.
Should I get a male or female kitten?

It's hard to say which is better. We haven't noticed much of a personality difference. Males tend to be bigger and lazier though some think they're more affectionate. Both genders are smart, friendly, and make great companions. Those who adopted from my cattery are equally happy with females and males.
